DDX19B study published in Communications Biology

A 2026 Communications Biology paper examines DDX19B and post-meiotic 3′-UTR profile shifts in mice.

Our 2026 paper DDX19B modulates post-meiotic 3′-UTR profile shifts in mice is published in Communications Biology.

The study links the nuclear-pore-associated RNA helicase DDX19B to changes in 3′-UTR profiles during the transition from spermatocytes to spermatids. Loss of DDX19B alters these profiles and perturbs RNA-regulatory networks, supporting an indirect model of regulation. Cross-species analyses identify a shared shift toward proximal 3′-UTR usage in mouse, macaque and human.
